Not all physical therapy is the same, and not all physical therapists are
created equal. At UTC, we are pushing the envelope to develop better care every day.
United Therapeutics Corp. was founded by a physical therapist October 3, 2001 to provide a new level of
specialized service in the rehabilitation industry. We have dedicated ourselves to creating new and improved
ways to help our patients get better faster, and to do so more safely and effectively than anyone else. We
know that not everyone responds the same, so we customize our treatments to the individual’s needs with
We utilize our specialized knowledge of rehabilitation science, anatomy, biomechanics, physiology, and more,
to create patient-specific solutions for movement disorders. We understand that musculoskeletal pathology drives
most of the common disorders we see and treat every day. If it is fixable, we will find a way to help your body
repair what is wrong, and we will give you clear instructions about what to do, and what not to do, to aid that
process. We also understand the human elements which are important to the process of recovery. We will always
respect individual circumstances.
Our interest is in helping everyone who visits us. Most of the time this means recovery so that you can
continue to enjoy life free from pain and disability. Sometimes patients have conditions which are not
appropriate for our services. If you are in this category, we work with a network of skilled professionals to
whom we can refer you for management of conditions outside of our scope of practice.
We offer an outstanding, modern, scientifically rigorous, and effective management for a wide variety of
musculoskeletal pathologies. We work with the entire orthopedic rehab spectrum from simple to complex cases,
non-operative, post-operative, and surgery avoidance.
Contact us to discuss your concerns. Or, have your physician contact us to discuss your rehab options.
Remember, you have the right to choose your provider.
“In today’s health care system, physical therapists are the experts in the examination and
treatment of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular problems that affect peoples’ abilities to move the way
they want and function as well as they want in their daily lives.”
— Dr. Andrew Guccione, PT, PhD, FAPTA
“The potential for our profession to help people is enormous. We are a specialty service, and while we do not
often engage in life-or-death issues with our patients, we do engage in quality of life issues.”
— Dr. Mark White, PT, DPT, OCS
